XTOR Player lets you watch videos from any XTOR-compatible feed. The XTOR format is an open, decentralised way to share and stream video across the internet. Add a feed URL, browse what it offers, and stream it straight away.
Watch what you want
You keep full control over what you watch. Add any XTOR feed URL, explore the videos in it, and play them directly in the app. Live broadcasts, tutorials, independent productions, community projects: you decide.
How it works
- Enter the URL of an XTOR-compatible feed.
- The app loads its video list automatically.
- Tap any video to stream it.
Feeds that follow the open XTOR 1.0 format describe their videos up front, including titles, thumbnails, durations and available qualities, so playback starts quickly and stays reliable.
For creators and viewers
Viewers can explore community feeds and independent catalogues. Creators can host their own XTOR feed and have it work in the app immediately. The ecosystem is built around compatibility between different providers and players, as an open alternative to closed platforms.
Private by design
There are no sign-ups and no analytics, just playback from sources you choose. Feeds are managed on your device. XTOR Player does not host or distribute video itself; it is a client for feeds you point it at.
It is built to stay light, and runs smoothly on older Android devices using standard web protocols and open formats.
